Meet AnnMarie Staats,
PMHNP-BC
I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the great state of Texas for 22 years, with extensive clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I have served previously as a clinical nursing instructor at the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing for 5 years and as a nursing educator since 2006. I use my skills as a teacher to help others with their problems and provide education about their treatment and the medications that can help them. I believe this leads to better patient outcomes with a plan that we will develop together. My belief is that education plays a tremendous role in achieving and maintaining mental health and collaboration is always key.
